Refresh rate

How do you configure your monitor vertical refresh rate? Under Gnome, redhat-config-xfree86 has no refresh rate settings. Under KDE, the applet for screen resolution configuration shows only one option. And it is not in /etc/X11/XF86Config... :(

I think I've already seen it somewhere, but I can't remember where it was...

somtimes those rates are bound to the model of monitor that is stated in XF86Config
